How do I request a walk?

All walks are scheduled via email (barkavellc@gmail.com). We typically respond within minutes! When requesting a walk please provide your preferred 2-hour timeframe and we will get back to you asap.

Will I have the same walker every day?

Yes, we try our best to keep your walker as consistent as possible. If for some reason your primary walker is not available (sick, emergency, etc.) we have a team of walkers who would be happy to fill in. We can also set up a meet & greet with him/her prior to your first walk so that you can rest assure that your pup is in good hands.

Do you do private puppy visits?

Yes! We have A LOT of experience with new puppies and understand their unique needs. Need us to play, feed, or walk with your little guy or girl while you are at work? You’ve come to the right place 🙂

Do I need to have a consistent schedule?

Nope! We are very flexible and can work around your schedule, whether you need walks Monday-Friday or just certain days of the week. Please provide at least 48 hours notice when requesting a walk to ensure that we can accommodate.

How does payment work?

Invoices are sent out via email bi-weekly. We accept Venmo, Chase QuickPay, cash & check.

What if I need to cancel?

We ask that you provide 24 hours notice should you need to cancel a walk. Same-day cancellations carry an $8 charge.

What are your hours?

We are open from 9am-6pm Monday-Friday. All walks occurring outside these hours are $10 extra.

Do you offer overnight boarding & daycare?

Absolutely! We have a terrific daycare and boarding facility, Hotel Bark Ave, where we’d love to host your pup. As long as he/she is:
  • at least 16 weeks of age
  • under 50lbs
  • spayed or neutered
  • friendly with others (dogs & people)
  • up-to-date on all vaccinations (primarily Rabies, Bordetella & DHPP)
